To use this feature, the user has to search ‘prepaid mobile recharge’, ‘sim recharge’ or other related information on his Android device. After this, mobile recharge section will appear in the search results. Here the user has to tap on ‘Browse plans’ after giving information like phone number, operator and circle. After this, users will be shown the available prepaid plans of that operator. From here users can choose the plan as per their need.
As soon as the user selects a plan. He will then be given a list of all the offers and their service providers available with the plan he has selected. After this, the user can tap any one provider and recharge as per his convenience through the provider’s app or mobile site. Providers like FreeCharge, MobiKwik, Google Pay and Paytm are currently listed. Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea, Airtel and BSNL are working with this feature.
As soon as the user completes the transaction. A Back to Google button is provided on the confirmation page of the providers which takes the user back to the search once again. On the confirmation page itself, the user is given access to customer support information for the recharge.
