Facebook’s instant messaging app WhatsApp has released a new beta update for iPhone users. Many changes have been made with the new update released for iPhone users. Profile picture cannot be saved using 3D Touch. Notifications of download issues will appear in chats as pin alerts and the Quick Media Edit feature has been enabled for testing. Now as this feature has been enabled, it can be released soon for the stable version also. Apart from this, WhatsApp is also testing PIN alert for download problem. This alert will show at the top of the chat suggesting you update the app.

The Quick Media Edit feature is being tested for both iOS and Android platforms. This feature has been enabled for the latest iOS beta of WhatsApp. The Quick Edit Media shortcut will allow you to edit media files you send or receive in individual or group chats.

WhatsApp Multi-Platform System

The report also says that WhatsApp is also working on a multi-platform system with the help of which users will be able to run the same account on two devices at the same time. This means that after the release of the stable update, users will be able to use their WhatsApp account simultaneously on both devices, including iPhone and iPad. With the help of UWP app, users will be able to run WhatsApp on the computer even if there is no internet connection in the phone.
