Likee app is erasing the distance between fans and celebs during lockdown

This is a short video platform of Singapore-based BIGO Technology Pte Ltd, on which people create and post their short videos. However, these days celebs are making full use of its LIVE feature. Actually, due to the lockdown, all the celebs are locked in their homes, so they are taking advantage of this feature to bridge the distance with their fans.

In fact, Likee’s LIVE feature has become an effective medium of communication between celebrities and their fans during the Corona virus epidemic and lockdown. Let us tell you, according to the latest ranking released by Sensor Tower, Likee is the sixth most downloaded app worldwide in terms of communicating with its fans.

Singer Amit Tandon, who made his debut in the world of entertainment with the first season of the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’, recently shared some fitness tips with his fans through Likee’s live streaming feature. Apart from this, actress Preetika Rao i.e. Aliya Haider of TV series ‘Beintaha’ also talked to the fans about the lockdown during a live session and not only this, she also hummed some songs to make this live session even more interesting. You will be surprised to know that his session was liked a lot, in which he got more than 50,000 likes.

Some other celebs also used Likee to interact with fans. Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani recently appeared in a live session with Likee India head Abhishek Dutta and talked about his music label Just Music’s latest initiative ‘Muskuraega India’. Similarly, famous singer Palak Muchhal also joined a live session with Mr Dutta to auction the dolls and raise funds for the ongoing fight against Covid-19. Both the sessions garnered 2.7 lakh and 1.9 lakh likes respectively.
