Google for India 2019: Google today announced support for additional Indian languages ​​for Google Lens and Bolo App users during the Google for India 2019 event. Google Lens will now be able to translate text in Tamil, Telugu and Marathi languages, while on the other hand, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu support has been added to the Bolo app. Users will now be able to translate easily using these additional Indian languages. Additionally, the Bolo App team has expanded the content pool by partnering with publishers like Chota Bheem and Katha Kids.

First of all let’s talk about Google Lens. Google has now supported three additional Indian languages ​​Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. Lens will now easily translate text in these additional languages.

The Bolo app was launched earlier this year and now the app has also got support for additional Indian languages. Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu support has been provided for the Bolo app. It is a speech-based reading-tutor app that focuses on rural children and has now joined hands with publishers like Chotta Bheem and Katha Kid to expand content.

Apart from this, Google has also expanded language support in the Discover News Feed app. Support has been provided for Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Malayalam languages ​​and it has also been confirmed that support for Oriya, Urdu and Punjabi languages ​​will also be available soon.
