First of all let’s talk about Google Lens. Google has now supported three additional Indian languages Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. Now users can point their phone’s camera at a poster, sign, book, etc. to search for information, ask questions, and even translate text. Lens will now easily translate text in these additional languages.
The Bolo app was launched earlier this year and now the app has also got support for additional Indian languages. Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu support has been provided for the Bolo app. It is a speech-based reading-tutor app that focuses on rural children and has now joined hands with publishers like Chotta Bheem and Katha Kid to expand content.
Apart from this, Google has also expanded language support in the Discover News Feed app. Support has been provided for Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Malayalam languages and it has also been confirmed that support for Oriya, Urdu and Punjabi languages will also be available soon.
