Google launches YouTube Learning for students, separate kids section will come on Play Store

During the Coronavirus lockdown, lakhs of students and teachers are locked in their homes, they are neither able to go to school nor learn anything new. In view of this problem, Google has taken an important step. Google has launched a new feature on YouTube, named YouTube Learning. Subjects related to the students’ curriculum like Maths, Physics, Biology, Language Study, Study Hacks etc. are included on this platform. Users can access YouTube Learning on desktop as well as on their mobile phones.

According to YouTube, along with topics related to the course topics, you YouTube Learning Videos based on many other topics will also be available on the platform, like photography and yoga etc. Google says that this new feature will be useful for all those people and students who want to learn, read and understand new things.

On YouTube Learning you will get content in English and Hindi language. However, the company promises that in the coming days it will also add content in other languages ​​like Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali.

To help students and teachers, Google has made premium features like its Google Meet video conferencing platform available for free till September 2020. With the help of this feature, more than 250 people can join in a single video conference.

Not only this, the company has also launched EDU Hub, with the help of which remote learning is facilitated. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, all the children are locked in their homes, in such a situation, Google has made children’s books and readings of Chhota Bheem available on its Bolo app by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Apart from this, Google has added a new children’s section on the Play Store. launch Has been done, in which apps approved by teachers have been included. These apps follow high standards to ensure they are safe for kids. The company says that this kid section was to be launched later this year, but due to the Corona virus lockdown, it has been launched ahead of schedule.
