WhatsApp rival itself confirmed this on Twitter. The developer wrote that the sudden surge in sign-ups is causing delays in sending verification codes to network providers.
This is a golden chance for Signal App, where the app can increase its user base, because currently WhatsApp is facing criticism due to its new privacy policy.
