Google has added a new feature to the Android version of Gmail. After iOS, now for Android users, Google has rolled out the Undo Send feature for Gmail’s Android app. Users were waiting for this feature for a long time. After several years of testing, the company launched the Undo Send feature in 2015. With the help of this feature, sent emails can be withdrawn. This feature is not new, Gmail Undo Send feature was made available for iOS users in November 2016. Now this feature has been launched for Android.

This feature was first spotted by the website Android Police on Android platform. Let us tell you that version 8.7 of Gmail Undo Send feature will be rolled out for Android users. This feature will work just like the desktop version. After sending the email, a box will open below in which Sending will be visible. Along with this, an option to cancel will also appear. As you can see in the picture, after the email is sent, you will see the undo option. All users will be able to use this feature in version 8.7 of Gmail. If you are not able to see this feature, then go to Google Play Store and check if there is any update.

After its introduction in March 2009, the ‘Undo Send’ feature was in the testing phase in Gmail Lab until its official launch. This feature was first rolled out for the web version in 2015. Recall that recently Google had rolled out confidential mode in Gmail. After turning on this feature, if the user emails someone, it will automatically get deleted after the stipulated time.
