Civil rights lawyers have warned that the changes Musk is proposing are too vague and are not being closely followed by content in the name of free speech. This increases the risk of the platform becoming a search engine for radicals. Allowing Trump to return in particular could have an impact on content.

At his time, the former president had more than 88 million followers on the platform. He shared strange content like violence against the media, market-shaking tweets about companies and threats of nuclear war. Allowing them to return to Twitter could expand their reach even more.
