Elon Musk said he will leave the post of CEO of Twitter if he finds ‘some big idiot’

Elon Musk, head of microblogging site Twitter, has said that he will step down as chief executive of the company after getting his option. He had conducted a poll to know the attitude of the users about continuing as the CEO of Twitter or leaving this post. In this, most of the users voted in favor of his removal from this post.

Musk laid off about half the staff after taking over the company in late October. After this he Twitter Have made some major changes. Last week, some journalists had to face strong opposition after their Twitter accounts were banned. Regarding this, the European Union (EU) had warned of imposing restrictions on Twitter. However, Musk later withdrew this decision. These journalists were banned for giving reports related to Musk. “I will resign if we find someone stupid enough to fill the CEO position,” Musk tweeted after receiving the results of a poll on whether he should step down or remain as chief executive. He said that after this he will only handle the software and server teams. About 1.7 crore users voted in this poll. Of these, about 57 percent of the users voted in favor of Musk’s resignation as the head of Twitter, while about 42 percent of the users who participated in it wanted him to remain as the CEO of Twitter.

Musk is also the chief executive of Tesla, one of the big electric car makers. Musk is being accused of ignoring Tesla. Recently, Tesla’s third largest shareholder Leo Koguan had demanded the removal of Musk as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Koguan holds about 22.7 million shares in Tesla, which are worth about $3.6 billion.

Musk is facing difficulties after buying Twitter and because of this he is paying less attention to Tesla. Earlier Koguan was considered a supporter of Musk. However, he now wants to appoint a new CEO in place of Musk. He tweeted that Musk has left Tesla alone and the company has no working CEO.
