Facebook is adding a new Manage Activity tool that will help users easily sort multiple posts in one place. The company informed in its blog post that this feature will first work on the mobile version and Facebook Lite app and after that it will be made available for the desktop version. The Manage Activity feature is part of the Activity Log section and helps users archive or trash posts in bulk. In its blog post, Facebook also said that work on this tool will continue.

It archives a user’s old content, which is available to the user on Facebook, but cannot be seen by other users. Apart from this, with its help, users can also trash their old posts, in which your post will be visible for 30 days and then it will be deleted forever. However, users can also restore or delete them manually. Both these options will be used in bulk, which means users can manage all their past posts with the help of filters in one go. These filters include categories, date, and people.

How to use Facebook Manage Activity tool?

To use the Manage Activity tool, you will first have to go to the Activity Log section, then go to Manage Activity. Here you will see all your posts, with two options given – Archive and Trash. You will have to select all the posts separately, after selecting the post you will have to choose one of the two options.

Facebook has said in its blog that this feature has been added to “mobile and Facebook Lite apps”. It is worth noting that at present the Manage Activity tool is live only on the Facebook Lite app, but soon it will be made available on the mobile version also.
