Changed style of chatting on WhatsApp, use animated stickers like this

WhatsApp has started rolling out animated stickers for its Android and iOS users. You’ll see these new animated stickers alongside the regular sticker packs in the in-app stickers store. With this animated sticker pack you’ll see a play button, which makes these different from other Relugger stickers. Let us tell you that new animated stickers have been introduced for WhatsApp on iOS platform along with Android, they include Rico’s Sweet Life, Playful Piyomaru, Bright Days, Moody Foodies, and Chummy Chum Chums etc. Along with the mobile app, these animated stickers have also been released for desktop WhatsApp.

Instant messaging app WhatsApp Twitter Informed about the rollout of animated stickers. If you also want to see or use these new animated stickers, then make sure that your WhatsApp is working on the latest version. This feature will work on WhatsApp version v2.20194.16 for Android and WhatsApp version v2.20.70 for iOS. If your WhatsApp is not updated, update it immediately. Whenever you open WhatsApp after the update process is complete, you will see the option of ‘Stickers’ in the emoji icon at the bottom of the chat.

To include animated stickers in WhatsApp chat, follow these steps-

1. Open the chat window of the person you want to send animated stickers to.

2. Click on the emoji icon at the bottom of the chat section, where you have to select the stickers option. At the very end of the sticker section you will see a ‘+’ icon, tap on it.

3. After this the built-in sticker store will open, in which the sticker packs of WhatsApp are listed.

4. You will now notice that the new sticker pack above has been added to the ‘All Stickers’ list that comes with the play button. These are a little different from regular stickers.

5. Now click on whichever pack you want to download and view.

6. After previewing the stickers, now click on ‘Download’ option to download the stickers.

7. After this, the downloaded stickers will be added to your stickers section, which you can use in your chat.

These stickers will play only once in the chat, if you want to play the animated stickers again you will have to scroll-up and scroll-down the chat. By default animated stickers play only once and then stop. Once the stickers are downloaded in the mobile app, they become visible in its desktop version also. Let us tell you, there is no option to download stickers in WhatsApp desktop. Apart from this, WhatsApp is not currently supporting third-party stickers. We also tried downloading stickers through other apps but could not.
