BevQ app supports both English and Malayalam languages. To use this app, the user has to provide his name, mobile number and PIN code. The user who registers his number through this app, first gets a QR code along with the e-token on his mobile phone. This token is scanned at the liquor store and after that the customer can buy the liquor.
The news is also that through BevQ app, a customer can buy liquor only once in four days in the state. A customer who does not have an e-token will not be able to purchase liquor. Apart from this, people who live in red zone areas will also not be able to register for purchasing liquor through this app. E-token is sent through SMS.
