The input given by the citizens will become part of the Aarogya Setu database and based on this information, alerts will be issued to the people for their safety.
The Health Ministry has requested citizens to download this app on their mobile phones and with its help stay away from the danger of novel coronavirus. This dangerous virus has now killed about 1700 people across the country and more than 50,000 people have been infected by it.
However, the ministry has also claimed that so far 9 crore citizens have downloaded the Arogya Setu mobile app on their phones. At the same time, now the government has provided this facility through IVRS to those people who do not have smartphones, like those who use feature phones and landlines.
Arogya Setu app is available on Google Play Store for Android users and IOS App Store for iPhone users. This app supports 10 Indian languages ​​apart from English.
